What Should I Bring?

Testing sessions start at 6:30 PM Sharp. Please bring two (2) forms of identification, one must be a photo identification, including any previous amateur radio license (CSCE orginials and copies if upgrading). Please note that your previous amateur radio license, if upgrading, also counts as a form of identification.

If you currently or previously held a FCC Registration Number (FRN) please also make sure you bring your documentation of your FRN number to ensure proper processing of your application.

You should bring $15.00 for the initial exam and any succeeding elements. Retests of any failed elements will be charged another $15.00 fee per the ARRL VEC, who coordinates our Volunteer Examination.

Volunteer Examination at the RF Hill Amateur Radio Club Hamfest

During the RF Hill Amateur Radio Club Hamfest, which takes place in October, we also offer amateur radio testing for new and upgrade licenses. The testing usually starts at 10 AM sharp at the American Legion Hall across from the Hamfest grounds.
